Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Notion has completely transformed the way I organize, collaborate, and manage information across projects and teams. It’s an incredibly powerful and flexible tool that functions as a knowledge base, document library, and task manager all in one. Notion pros and cons

  • Notion seamlessly combines note-taking, task management, knowledge base, and project collaboration into one intuitive platform, eliminating the need for switching between multiple apps.

  • Users can tailor pages and workflows with databases, Kanban boards, calendars, and templates to suit personal or team needs, promoting efficiency and clarity.

  • Real-time editing, shared workspaces, comments, and mentions make collaboration smooth and ideal for distributed teams.

  • Every piece of content is indexed and instantly searchable, making it easy to locate documents, tasks, or even specific discussions quickly.

  • Notion’s performance in offline mode is subpar, which may frustrate users who frequently work without internet access.

  • While it integrates with tools like Zapier, Notion lacks built-in automation and time tracking, which could limit its use in more complex workflow environments.

Great Multi Purpose Tool

What do you like best? Notion attempts to combine a lot of the tools that I use regularly into one - and it does a pretty good job at it! It's been exciting to have one go to place for all business communications and planning What do you dislike? Because of all it can do, there was a bit of a learning curve for me. Recommendations to others considering the product: They have a free option and it's worth giving it a shot What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Great for keeping notes and records

What do you like best? Notion is very fast and the UI feels amazing. I love that I can jump into taking notes and organize it right away. Team sharing and shareable URLs are also amazing. What do you dislike? The Android app needs work, it takes at least 15 seconds for it to load every time I open it. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it for free to see if it fits your workflow! Then you can consider upgrading to a paid plan. What problems are you solving with the ...

Extremely Useful and User Friendly

What do you like best? This program is great for personal organization as well as group collaboration. The interface is clean and simple and there's a lot of room for customization. You can get great use out of this just by using their existing templates or by getting deeper into the features and designing your own. What do you dislike? It could do with a bit more of a tutorial to help those who want to use the more complicated features Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

The Gift That is Notion

What do you like best? Notion's a good space for, I think, your entire team to use and work on together. You can use it at the same time as your coworkers and all be adding in content; there are multiple forms that you can use for the information you want to make; it is easy to use and learn. I like how clean everything looks, how things are easy to move around and arrange, and it all looks very neat and tidy. What do you dislike? Honestly, not much. Sometimes it's a bit slow to load, but ...

Notion is a GODSEND. My top 3- favorites I use EVERY DAY

What do you like best? It took me 1 year to upgrade from the trial. But there is a good reason why. I have all the note taking softwares, checklists, spreadsheets. I needed something that can house everything, and was quick. Notion does all of that. For me- I use notion to reference pretty much everything. I dont use it for full on notes.. but for reference points. If for example, I need to reference writing content, i have notes for sales copy examples in their 'text' option, ...

MY NEW FAVORITE TOOL!

What do you like best? So.. let me say, that it took me over a year to 'jump on board' not because of the tool it self. but i was a early adopter.. looking for a replacement for evernote, wunderlist, and google drive. That's a ton of data! Notion does ALL OF THIS. What do you dislike? Notion is shipping new stuff on the daily. Their team is excellent,a nd listens their community to add new eatures. Just last week they created templates. And that was a 'dislike' i had. I would like to ...
