Notion has completely transformed the way I organize, collaborate, and manage information across projects and teams. Notion pros and cons

  • Notion seamlessly combines note-taking, task management, knowledge base, and project collaboration into one intuitive platform, eliminating the need for switching between multiple apps.

  • Users can tailor pages and workflows with databases, Kanban boards, calendars, and templates to suit personal or team needs, promoting efficiency and clarity.

  • Real-time editing, shared workspaces, comments, and mentions make collaboration smooth and ideal for distributed teams.

  • Every piece of content is indexed and instantly searchable, making it easy to locate documents, tasks, or even specific discussions quickly.

  • Notion’s performance in offline mode is subpar, which may frustrate users who frequently work without internet access.

  • While it integrates with tools like Zapier, Notion lacks built-in automation and time tracking, which could limit its use in more complex workflow environments.

Best app to organize EVERYTHING!

What do you like best? Notion is incredibly simple to use, but I love how in-depth the features are! I have been able to use this app to organize and manage all my development projects quickly and allow my team to see and edit along with me. It is one of the few apps I use every single day at work and recently even at home on personal development projects! And the mobile app has been just as fantastic! What do you dislike? It can be slow to load or switch between workspaces, and I wish ...

Awesome tool for notes, documentation, planning, to-do's

What do you like best? Easy to setup, provide with a plenty of templates, allows to have a team and a personal workspaces to easily manage notes, tasks, to-do's etc. Also the MacOS app is super user friendly: What do you dislike? There probably too many features. I guess I barely use 20% of them. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Organize my to-do list. Manage personal notes. Notion for Knowledge Management

What do you like best? Our company has been using Notion for as long as I can remember. It is our main mode of documenting processes and policies. I like how Notion lets me collaborate with other employees. It also tracks changes and in some instances, only some people can do those changes. What do you dislike? It is easy for things to get lost in Notion. The search function is not too good and it becomes much more difficult if people have written about the same topic on several pages. ...

What do you dislike? Being used to InDesign, somethings are hard to get used to. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure to make use of all the ways you can format the copy, it makes your notes so much more legible. There are a lot of ways to divide your thoughts. ...

Tool for all of our needs

What do you like best? Notion's interface is adaptable for practically anything we need. Their team is super responsive and provide a ton of support. What do you dislike? Because it's so customizable, Notion is hard to start using effectively as a team because you have to design each workflow that it'll be used for. Great alternative to Confluence

What do you like best? Easy to view, add and edit content. Very visual approach, light and accessible from anywhere since it's browser-based. Useful templates What do you dislike? The to-do lists and Kanbans are not as complete as to replace Trello or Jira. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try their templates before taking a decision.
