Expert's Review

Notion has completely transformed the way I organize, collaborate, and manage information across projects and teams. It’s an incredibly powerful and flexible tool that functions as a knowledge base, document library, and task manager all in one. Its customization capabilities let me build anything from CRM systems to editorial calendars without writing a single ...Read more

Notion pros and cons

  • Notion seamlessly combines note-taking, task management, knowledge base, and project collaboration into one intuitive platform, eliminating the need for switching between multiple apps.

  • Users can tailor pages and workflows with databases, Kanban boards, calendars, and templates to suit personal or team needs, promoting efficiency and clarity.

  • Real-time editing, shared workspaces, comments, and mentions make collaboration smooth and ideal for distributed teams.

  • Every piece of content is indexed and instantly searchable, making it easy to locate documents, tasks, or even specific discussions quickly.

  • Notion’s performance in offline mode is subpar, which may frustrate users who frequently work without internet access.

  • While it integrates with tools like Zapier, Notion lacks built-in automation and time tracking, which could limit its use in more complex workflow environments.

Notion is for me what Evernote should have been

What do you like best? I love the flexibility of Notion; I use it for anything: It's my non-distractive writing app, my task-list, my project management tool, and the platform I share content with my students. The fact that I can use my backgrounds and icons helps it fit in with my brand. I also use it for personal stuff: Planning my vacation, storing recipes, lists of books to read and, a wishlist that I share with my husband, so he knows what presents to buy me. To be short: Except for ...

It's ALMOST perfect

What do you like best? The best of Notion is its versatility and ease of use. I've presented Notion to my team and they've all learned their way easily in a week or two. Notion has given us the power of having our own wiki, resources library, and timelines for our processes. What do you dislike? It is still too new and doesn't have many integrations. I'd love to connect Notion as an API to an internal service, or to a website. Also, the possibilities for customizing are ...

Life changer

What do you like best? There's so many things you can use Notion for. From basic do lists, to prioritising tasks and tracking progress using Kaban boards, to easier collaborating process with colleagues on projects. Also great for both company and private use. What do you dislike? That you can't open a new tab within the program. Everything happens within the on window. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Solving project management and ...

Simple, Flexible, Notion

What do you like best? Using Notion is a delight. It's a very flexible platform, that allows groupings of markdown documents in useful ways. With simple markdown documents, they support kanban boards, table views, wikis, and more. It allowed our team to consolidate tools, and keep things in one place. What do you dislike? So far, there's not much to dislike about Notion. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Notion has allowed us to ...

Notion is the best software

What do you like best? I really liked the templates which are made in Notion. It was easy to use the templates and simply add the required details. I also liked the use of Notion when we were doing a group project and sharing documents was very easy using notion, we have kept the Notion page as a repository. What do you dislike? A few times it gets confusing as the documents are seen duplicate times i.e your main page and inside page as well. Sometimes I save the favorite URL's but I ...

Replacement for Evernote

What do you like best? I like the user interface compared to Evernote which is quite limited in what you can do but not so with Notion as you can customize the interface to suit your specific work style. What do you dislike? Sometimes the editor can be a bit fiddly. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Organizing my thought life into digital and for planning business activities.

Productivity On Hyperdrive

What do you like best? I love this product! I was introduced to it by my engineering team at work and quickly noticed how flexible and fun it is to use. Simple, straightforward and continually improving, this platform offers great in-depth features that help productivity and notetaking. The key to this product is its customization abilities. I've been able to organize my entire marketing roadmap and share it across my organization - allowing them to collaborate and edit at the same as ...
