NordVPN Reviews in November 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

NordVPN is very unfriendly to Chinese users.

Trust me, NordVPN is very unfriendly to Chinese users. On the other hand, NordVPN can't open lots of Chinese websites. Well, are you discriminate Chinese people? You said NordVPN can't affect Chinese policy. What a beautiful platitude.

Okay but I stopped using them a few months ago after finding the service running fairly slow, and the fact they publicly advertise the Netflix server means they get blocked super super quick!! However the customer service was fairly good to be fair!!

Thousands of VPN servers around the world

What do you like best? The best thing about this VPN service is the large number of servers that it has in each country, especially in the USA, the number of servers in this location is around 3000 and they all work fluently. NordVPN also offers servers in all countries of Europe, Latin America, Asia and part of Africa so it is possible to connect to most of the planet. I recently came back from over seas and found out I have been charged for another year subscription for Nord VPN. I didn’t realise you have to turn of automatic payments or that they keep your credit card details.

Hi employee at NordVPN

Hi employee at NordVPN. Could you pass on two aspects of your macOS and iOS apps that, in my view could be improved upon? If a UXer could put it on a backlog somewhere that would be awesome.First issue is with the auto-connect on iOS. Nice feature. But there is a but of course. There is always a but. After a while the server the auto-connect tries to connect to is overloaded, or taking a nap, hijacked by China or whatever... so trying to connect to it doesn't work. My suggestion would be to ...

I so want this to work but it REFUSES TO DO SO

When it works it's fine. in fairness that has been most of the time BUT, when I was asked to upgrade to the latest release (their messaging is always a "latest and greatest, happy-clappy" inducement I began to receive the dreaded "network settings wants to modify your configuration" message over and over. Their Customer Support are certainly both polite and responsive BUT - and it's a huge BUT - they don't know how to take you through any process in a simple, step by step manner. They ...
