At least this abuse department replies, but they are very unhelpful and uneducated if they do. You can draw a very elaborate scam in front of them that takes at most 10 minutes to tear apart. Fraud, smoke & mirrors, and terrible customer service

Fraud is what Namecheap is. I signed up for Namecheap years ago with my business phone number, which no longer exists. But you can not login without a verification text. So I reached out in Sept - they created a new account for me b/c they said they couldn't take the phone number off. I bought about $50 worth of domains and now can't login b/c they attached a bogus email - I have NO idea where they got that email so how can I verify it? Today's support was really disappointing..

Today's support was really exasperating. Before I was around 15 minutes waiting and then disconnected. This all because it is a shared server and got blacklisted by spamcop. Usually we get a good tech that in a few minutes takes care of it. Today? No luck. It was the most disappointing and a tech without any knowledge and asking me what to do... took more than one hour for nothing! Probably one of THE worst customer services ever. Prepare to spend 1-2 hours in wait time while they check your account, i.e. help 50 other customers at the same time and take at least 5 minutes between each answer because they are helping too many other people. And if you get an answer you are lucky it relates to your problem. Day 1, the online checkout form was very glitchy. It would not accept my credit card, so I thought I had to preload the account, which I did. After that did not work and through trial and error, I finally realized that they were forcing me to store my credit card prior to checking out. issues with the nameservers

Suddenly I couldn't change the nameservers for a domain and they kept saying me that this is because a nameserver from four that didn't work. First time they answered me after two hours and then after one day and gave me the same answer. My domain was down for an entire day for this reason. I will never buy a domain from namecheap.

The go to place if you want to create scam websites. Every scam possible known to man created to mimick Royal Mail, Bank websites and HMRC all created for phishing personal and bank information is hosted by the servers of namecheap. If this was any sort of criminal case it would be done for aiding and abetting criminals. Could I add proceeds of crime?
