PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Nagios can monitor the whole system effectively because of its 4-search engine feature. It allows you to monitor different IP addresses and security within the whole network. The dashboard is really good because it's able to capture all the needed information. I highly recommend Nagios XI!
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It effectively monitors our networks hosts -- from distribution to access. What aspects are problematic or could work better? The web interface sometimes lags. The initial configuration is also hard to figure out, but thanks to their tech support team, we were able to get through it. Nagios is also not available in Linux. Powerful software!
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It has a four-engine monitoring system that helps watch our servers. It can be easily customized and has awesome features like cofiguration wizards, configuration snapshots, and capacity planning components. Adding and removing server is also easy with Nagios. I give it a 2 star
I give it a 2 star, for making it somewhat intuitive and for having many sensors. The system is however too old fashion. The setup is very hard compared to other systems, like PRTG or Probeturion. I would not recommend this system.
