Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. Check whether Mural's template ...Read more

Essential Collaborative Platform

What do you like best? Although Mural excels in collaborating virtually, an essential part of how I collaborate and co-create is in the preparation and the setup of activities and exercises. Mural excels in giving individuals the ability to craft a particular framework for any need. What do you dislike? With certain projects, I iterate on the same mural many times, collecting a large amount of stickies. The performance degrades the more elements are on the page. Recommendations ...

An invaluable tool for remote teams

What do you like best? Excellent UI. Very easy for multiple people to use at the same time. What do you dislike? Not much. Could have a few more stock icons/graphics Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need a collaboration tool for remote teams, I highly recommend using mural. It has become an invaluable tool for us. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? My team is 100% remote and we use it for our ...

Mural is unlocking distant creativity

What do you like best? the timer and votes for timeboxing purpose, as well as the size of the canvas. I also like the richness of the Mural templates. What do you dislike? I can not edit from smartphone, which is one of the normal behavior of todays users. Recommendations to others considering the product: if you look for smart collabs and need timeboxing, definitely Mural is the choice. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Mural is powerful and easy to use.

What do you like best? The mural community is wonderful. That is the most helpful for me. People are always there to help and they are abundantly sharing resources. The tool is very powerful. I love facilitator superpowers and templates form other partners. I am grateful for a free account as a consultant. It helps me a lot in my work with clients. What do you dislike? I don't like how I can manipulate the elements. Sometimes it is hard controlling many people when they start ...

My go to whiteboarding tool for remote facilitation

What do you like best? Mural sets itself apart from the other whiteboard tools with it's facilitation superpowers, ease of use and great pricing. I've know large organisations who've onboarded with other tools and switched for these reasons. As a pro facilitator often working with large groups and multiple remote teams the ability to craft great experiences with the templating features is brilliant. I can run through tried and tested methods or quickly rustle up something to meet ...

The BEST visual collaboration tool

What do you like best? Let's face it, it's easy to get distracted on a conference call. MURAL allows all participants to be actively participating at the same time, and gives the facilitator the power to "summon" attendees, host a voting session, and see who is actively contributing. Most of all it allows for a visually inviting atmosphere, that inspires creativity (and fun). What do you dislike? At this time, MURAL does not have the capability to embed active data within the board ...

Mural was a shortcut for me to make design thinking available to my cross-functional peers.

What do you like best? How easy it is to create a new board, send a link, and have a group of people collaborating online immediately. What do you dislike? I think it has less visually appealing tools compared to other competitors (i.e. it takes a bit more time than I would like to make my boards look super crisp and visually pleasant). That said, Mural boards still look considerably fine (this is the opinion of a designer). What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

It is perfect for teamwork either in person or virtual

What do you like best? I find the possibility of using templates very good, but also of creating new canvas and ideas for business, family or communities What do you dislike? there are no things that I don't like, maybe expand the possibility of users in the version that I have Recommendations to others considering the product: try it with your teamwork What problems are you solving with the product? Experience in-room collaboration, over the internet.

What do you like best? The speed to start collaborating is excellent. The interface is easy to use for both new users and professionals designing visual canvases for preparing a workshop session. The available iconography from noun project combined with drag-and drop of your own content onto the canvas page means the whiteboard feels like it's in your room. Multiple users can work at the same time on the same problem with a single shared view. Use visual layouts to work ...

Fantastic to create remotely.

What do you like best? It meets all my needs and offers effective results. It is one of the great products. Of the various features of this particular application, few of them are my favorite features, which make my work more professional. In addition, the document produces massive functions, so that valuable reports are generated for continuous workflow. In addition, the tracking feature of this wonderful app is amazing, so I can also find minor details from a wide range of files and ...
