"MODO Rocks!"
What do you like best about Modo? What I love about MODO is your simple way to do most things. I'm not a expert in 3D modeling but with MODO my work flows very well. What do you dislike about Modo? I really don't like when the software start to slow things down, as viewport navigation and I dont' like when it crashes, obviouslly. It happens a lot Recommendations to others considering Modo: Very fast learning and clean renders if you know how to setup. What problems is Modo solving and how ...

"Best 3d package for modeling out there."
What do you like best about Modo? Best modeling tools. easy to use and learn. real time render. easy to setup render. good community. great support from the foundry. What do you dislike about Modo? no modifiers for modeling. no destructive modeling options animation tools are awful. can't handle huge scenes or models with a big polycount. the material editor is a little confusing since they implemented node based + shader tree. there's no visual feedback for the material, only the ...

"Best in class Modeling."
What do you like best about Modo? Modo is one of the best quickest 3D modeling apps out there. The tools are focused on Sub-D modeling and sculpting for both freeform organic and hard surfaces alike. The entire UI is customisable to allow you to focus on specific tasks from rigging, retopologizing, animation and scripting in python. Preferences are easy to manage and share. The plugin architecture allows you to find and install scripts quickly and easily. A growing community ensures that ...

"Such a nice all in one package"
What do you like best about Modo? MODO's native render engine is so far the greatest native render engine What do you dislike about Modo? Shading work. It should be node based shading work, not like linear stacking work. Recommendations to others considering Modo: MODO is great software for aritsts, but I am not sure it is good enough for studio. MODO has significant issue of managing memory, and has issue of slowing down speed. However, it has nice tool there. Artists can easily achieve ...

"Great learning tool for a beginner"
What do you like best about Modo? It was easy to use after a few tutorials and work time on it, I was overwhelmed at the very beginning because I had no previous experience but after a month I was using it without problem. I loved the skins and assets creations. Made my imagination go wild. I also loved the animation resources. What do you dislike about Modo? That is not widely known by the industry, the only experience that is relevant on 3D is Maya, so its not so easy to explain I do have ...

"overwhelmingly positive"
What do you like best about Modo? Ease of use, being able to model quickly and efficiently and having a great render engine integrated into the package by default. What do you dislike about Modo? some tools and features may come across as half-baked at times, also performance with big scenes could be better Recommendations to others considering Modo: The Foundry host a lot of short videos, that feature certain tools, features and workflows using modo and are definitely worth watching when ...

"Love it!"
What do you like best about Modo? Modo is steadily becoming a force to be reckoned with all around. Over the past 3 years I have been using Modo primarily for Modeling, Baking textures, Rendering. It does it so well that I made a decision to completely abandon Maya. Another huge bonus is the Dev Team itself, those guys are keeping their ears up all the time and listening to user feedback and acting upon it to address key issues from release to release. What do you dislike about Modo? It ...

"I love modo"
What do you like best about Modo? The interface is well thought out, cohesive and extremely customizable. It doesn't assume that you that you need things dumbed down so it's a very deep and powerful tool. What do you dislike about Modo? Exporting preference settings and configurations between different machines can be a real hassle, I wish it was a smoother experience. Recommendations to others considering Modo: It's a powerful modelling tool with a lot of depth, there's a lot of different ...
