"Mimecast review"

What do you like best? The Mimecast system works well and is cloud based rather than an appliance on site. Users can easily release held messages through outlook which saves IT time. What do you dislike? Black listing of email addresses for all users could be so much easier Recommendations to others considering the product: Train users to utilize the tools available to them. This will save your IT department valuable time. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

"Plenty of options, but clunky admin site."

What do you like best? The options and security offered by the product. What do you dislike? The admin site is not very user friendly, tends to be slow, and isn't very straightforward. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We see far fewer inquiries from users now that Mimecast checks each message, protects the links, and scans attachments.

"Great email protection"

What do you like best? Mimecast has been a great product to use to protect our users from SPAM and Phishing attacks. It also provides us a good backup to our email system and archives our old emails. What do you dislike? It is sometimes complicated to setup new features. They also the add features faster then I can learn them. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mimecast protects all aspects of our email. It also archives all our emails so we ...

"Budget Pricing with most of the same features as higher priced solutions. Sign me up!!"

What do you like best? First off the UI is clean and intuitive, we were an Office 365 Exchange in the cloud shop, navigating their security and mail flow portal was brutal. Secondly, Office 365 spam and malware blocking can't hold a stick to Mimecast's out of the box rules, which can be tweaked to fit most any use case you can think of. In our first week of implementation, we discovered hundreds of malware files that Office 365 was just letting through. What do you dislike? We have had some ...

"Mimecast is exactly what I needed!"

What do you like best? The policy-based functionality lets me customize exactly who or what gets in. What do you dislike? The robust functionality can sometimes over complicate a simple task. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take advantage of the implementation process and ask the Mimecast specialist(s) any questions you have, they are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help your individual organization succeed with Mimecast. What problems are you solving with the ...

"Mim3cast Email Security"

What do you like best? Mimecast has provided our organization with a good tool to help with the email security and Threat Protection. They have done a very good job in stopping and managing the threats even with the latest with COVID-19. What do you dislike? I am a little disappointed with the continued new features and having to add additional licenses when you are already paying the maintenance fee for the product. I would think some of these should be added as features not necessarily a ...
