Valuable at all skill levels

What do you like best? Easily the best part of Word is it’s simplicity- even individuals with minimal computer knowledge can easily use Word to complete a wide range of tasks from paper writing to flyer making to story drafting. What do you dislike? Microsoft Word has so many advanced features that are easy to use but hard to find. I wish that occasionally the tutorial would pop up and explain the “What would you like to do” section Recommendations to others considering the ...

Overall good

What do you like best? Proofing , document spell check, mailing section. What do you dislike? Autoupdating of table of contents is difficult .sometimes when we are doing copy paste from different sources and keep the destination formatting same , even then we have to go again and again to verify the heading of the paragraph else the table of contents will not be updated properly. Once the heading format is set . It should carry forward to other paragraphs as well What problems ...

A reliable piece of software

What do you like best? It is widely used and it has good compatibility with products from other software providers. It is simple to use and reliable. Due to this, I can easily access documents produced by other users and implement them in my workplace. What do you dislike? The most difficult feature to use is the formatting tools; it can be hard to adjust margins and the appearance of the work. Other than this I find the software with few problems. Recommendations to others ...

Great program I use for everything!

What do you like best? Most word processing programs operate in the same general way but I love using this one. I use it all the time for mail merging labels and creating and printing documents with and without images. It is easy to add links, check spelling and grammar, copy and paste text, and format documents. They have lots of pre-formatted templates for resumes, cover letters, calendars, fliers, cards and more that are easy to update for your needs...the undo button will become your ...

The word processor for all ages and abilities

What do you like best? Microsoft Word is the very first word-processing software I learned to use and the one I feel the most comfortable using still to this day. Everyone knows about Word and those who don't will learn in no time how to use it. I also like that I can add accents easily by changing the keyboard language from English to French. What do you dislike? I personally don't think there are any downsides to using Microsoft Word. It is straightforward, inviting and full of tips ...

Draw function is still pretty pathetic.

What do you like best? Word is good for writing documents, not for much else. What do you dislike? The "edit shapes" function in Draw offers a very limited set of possibilities, e.g., an arc that is convex from above but not one that is convex from below (why?). Paint is much more effective and user-friendly. The Draw function is hardly worth learning. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it for word processing only, not for drawing or bibliography. What ...

The best tool you can have!

What do you like best? We literally use Word for everything. We help employees build resumes using the pre-generated templates and it is such a time saver. We also use it for making business proposals and submitting our letters of agreement. What do you dislike? Nothing - I love everything about this and have absolutely no complaints. Recommendations to others considering the product: You cannot go wrong with Word. It is so easy to use and definitely worth it! What problems ...

Easy to use and user friendly.

What do you like best? I like that Word has a lot to offer. Insert pictures, to graphs, basically anything you need to write a document. What do you dislike? There is nothing that I dislike about Word. It is awesome. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A lot of essays and word documents in general.
