Microsoft System Center

What do you like best? The dashboard for scrum teams on microsoft TFS. It is easy to use and move task cards over from one column to the next. What do you dislike? Microsoft TFS is NOT intuitive. When creating sprints it is difficult. It is also not intuitive how to create user stories. The UI needs an update. When writing up bugs, the location to add a screenshot needs to be more viewable. Microsoft Test Manager is also NOT intuitive. It's so annoying you cannot copy and paste test ...

Powerful product that is feature rich, but not for small enterprises

What do you like best? This is honestly the best deployment and Windows client management tool out there. SCOM is the best monitoring tool out there, as well. It has the ability to monitor issues in the environment and correct them - as in system services for example - and is highly customizable where you can add custom add-ons any number of third party vendors. Config Manager is also highly customizable and powerful where you can deploy software and updates to 100's or 1000's of ...

Systems Center

What do you like best? Of the full sweet of system center products the best were the VMM, CM, and SM. These perform the task that is required. Although they are not easy to customize they do work for the tasks they are designed for. What do you dislike? I would disklike the applicaiton of Operations Manager. It seems very difficult to setup and very difficult to manage or customize in any way. Most of the time we spent on this product was trying to get the application to only alert on the ...

Terrfic suite of products

What do you like best? When you purchase this, you gain access to the whole suite of products (SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM, ect. Each product has its own specific purpose, but also can be incorporated into each other very easily (SCOM being able to run runbooks in SCCM for deployments and scripts, ect.. What do you dislike? Setting up each product takes a great deal of time initially. You almost need to be a dedicated admin just for each product, which is often the case, especially for SCCM. ...

It is a NEED if you work with Microsoft Technology

What do you like best? We are using a lot of the System Center suite software, including DPM, SCCM and VMM. System Center make it possible to manage Microsoft technologies. They develop based on System Center, and other vendors understand the need, and also develop plugins for System Center. This is the central point for everything. Based on Windows Server Backup, DPM is a very easy to use backup solution. You can backup any Microsoft services including Exchange, SQL, Active Directory. ...

What do you like best? For monitoring MS applications and services, nothing is more flexible and better than SCM. It integrates well and easily with other MS solutions - OOB and custom. Its easy to setup, configure, and administer. There are a lot of solutions out there and I have been a big fan of the product for a long time. MS continues to make improvements and in the case of MSCM, the improvements continually improve the product. The tools and functionality I've used Ive liked. What ...
