Indispensable and Powerful
What do you like best? We've been using MS SQL for many years now and I honestly don't know how we could run our business with out it. The best part of it is how it integrates seamlessly with Windows Server products and makes configuration and updating so easy. If you're running Windows OSs you really need MS SQL. What do you dislike? SQL is a complicated system and I wished MS SQL had more learning tools integrated in it. I've had to rely on 3rd party sources just to figure out how to ...

Good program for data manipulation
What do you like best? I extremely like the simplicity with which you can roll out table improvements, take a gander at the information put away inside table, and utilize SQL to do everything. Likewise, SQL profiler has been so useful in explaining many issues. I am working a lot with SQL and I can't stop utilizing it. What do you dislike? A few choices have a substantial expectation to absorb information, and sporadically it will bolt up for no clear reason. Else, I have no issues with ...

It just works
What do you like best? You can protype and test a complete system using SQL Express (free and Visual Studio Code (free and when you are ready, just upload your tables to SQL Server and go. It's awesome. I've been a user of SQL for years, and they simply keep improving the product with each release. I've yet to come across something it wouldn't handle - and handle well. What do you dislike? It DOES require some serious horsepower. The more memory and CPU's you throw at it, the better the ...

Mastering the Relational Database Elephant in the Room
What do you like best? For me, my use of understanding SQL and cracking the efficiency of learning how relational databases are put together and used happened only after I began using SSMS and began to understand and see the data structure dependencies that were exposed to me in my use of SSMS. What do you dislike? It's not so much a dislike as just being a dose of reality. A SQL database is an extremely powerful thing, as such there is much to learn about it and how to most effectively ...

Sr. SQL Database Engineer
What do you like best? Managing database using SQL Server Management studio provides very good flexibility What do you dislike? There isn't as much that I dislike with SQL Server. It will be good to have features where we have fine grain control over internal things. For example, it would have been a good feature to have historical tracking of the metrics as opposed to we setting up custom metrics. Overall SQL Server made my life easy to manage lot of databases and ease of use while ...
