Microsoft SQL On Everything

What do you like best? Over the years, Microsoft finally figured out that MS SQL should run in more places - not just in Windows Server, but regular Windows and now Linux. So now you can just run whatever your platform is, and put MS SQL on it. It even has support for Macs if you can get through that process too. The management platform is probably one of the most user friendly out there. Click, set this up, add a table, call it a day. What do you dislike? Some things are still ...

Why we use it.

What do you like best? It's wide compatibility with many vendor's solutions. I can setup one SQL server and host multiple app DB's on it. In the past, each vendor would have it's own version of SQL or some type of proprietary DB. By using SQL, we can be compatible with all different sorts of vendors out there, and many of them are switching to SQL from Microsoft. So just makes things easier. What do you dislike? Some of the interface is a little clunky and not very intuitive. Especially ...
