MS SQL or no SQL at all

What do you like best? Ease of use high availability reliability What do you dislike? Pretty pricey and gets unaffordable for small bussiness Recommendations to others considering the product If its a large company involving large amount of data handling then go for it without any second thought. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Large data storage problems are pretty much easily solved using MS SQL

Ageing like fine wine

What do you like best? Ease of building table structures, standard sql for execution and power features available in sql server What do you dislike? inability to grow in non rdbms space, would prefer if it had supported some of the mongo db features What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? enterprise applications with centralized database. Ease of backups and ability to enforce rules on server side by using constraints, triggers, etc.

What do you like best? Microsoft SQL Server is reasonably easy to set up and administer, and the graphical tools for managing it are relatively good. Remote connections, management, and administration also work reasonably well. Creating stored procedures for programmatic requirements also works reasonably well. What do you dislike?
