"Publisher is not intuitive"

What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher? Publisher can do a lot as far as graphic design, which is great for people who need to make a document or card occasionally but aren't actually graphic designers. What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher? Publisher is deeply unintuitive. Someone who doesn't use Publisher often probably won't ever work with it enough to grasp how it really works. This is great for company newsletters, banners, announcements, etc. instead of resorting to non-image friendly Word or PowerPoint for graphics. You can more easily select an appropriate template and manipulate and move imagery around the "art board" What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher? It still has some limitations that a ...

"Publisher as an engineering tool"

What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher? Free formatting options. Various templates available to users. What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher? I wish Publisher created more automatic references that could be selected (centering text box under an image) to help with spacing. I would like to be able to turn off some pages.
