must have for project management
What do you like best? the new 2017 version made some great improvements, and it got even easier than before to organize your project tasks, which, without this, can get very messy. What do you dislike? The way that the dependencies work might get improved, as dates usually need to be manually corrected, but still makes it easier than using excel along. Schedule Preparation
What do you like best? This seems to be the only real way to make a full-program schedule for full-scale development programs. For multi-year programs this software is untouchable, especially with making linkages between program milestones. What do you dislike? It looks too much like Excel and doesn't act as such - incorporating that functionality would be huge. It could also use better export features. A lot of co-workers and clients do not use Project for scheduling so I typically ...

What do you like best? Easy to create timelines with linked predecessors and constraints on tasks. What do you dislike? I don't like the gantt chart feature. It gets in the way when I try to export to pdf. The program can be confusing, but once you learn the ins and outs, it's a wonderful tool for project management needs. Recommendations to others considering the product A great program with many uses. Be sure to train your employees with the program, otherwise many may not want ...

User Friendly
What do you like best? I like that the program is user-friendly. I had no experience with Microsoft Project before this role, and my company did not give me any training. However, I was able to teach myself all of its functions because of the easy user interface. What do you dislike? Unlike in Excel, you cannot click on a cell and drag down its contents. You need to copy and paste on every line. This is too tedious. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...
