Microsoft Project Review
What do you like best? Easier to create and update a gantt chart for every project. Easier to visualize the current status of the project What do you dislike? Sometimes the project could get cramped up, like too much information on one scree What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We know which part of the project we are lagging and we need to double time to meet the deadline

Microsoft Project Review
What do you like best? The ability to organize, track, update your project in a shared environment for others to view and update. What do you dislike? Would like to a lighter, web version which would be more available across employees through the internet. Tasks won't 'reflow' to weekends, holidays or maternity periods. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Simplify business with a single solution that connects financials, ...

Functional, not great
What do you like best? The WBS creation piece is useful, makes it easy. Easy to enter data. Lots of options for diagram creation. What do you dislike? This program is not super user friendly and not intuitive for new users. If there are errors when creating the WBS, for example, it will continue to add to the diagram and make an incredibly lengthy WBS that can only be viewed across several pages. Recommendations to others considering the product Consider watching a ...

Just Started using this in our office.
What do you like best? I donot know about other Project management products. This product gives you a lot of features which are really helpful but we have explored only a few and they are right now enough for us. What do you dislike? Still exploring, donot know of any. Will update when I find one. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps you eliminate the latency time you take to communicate someone in the team their tasks.

Project Manager
What do you like best? Linking the tasks together and allocating resources, also since this is widely used and accepted it is sometimes the most preferred method to create a detailed timeline for a project/work effort What do you dislike? The charts are not very visually appealing Recommendations to others considering the product This is not the best for project management though widely accepted What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Great s/w to work on
What do you like best? I love the filtering abilities in Microsoft Project, I am constantly using them for zooming in on what's critical whether in a meeting or working solo to update the schedule. I often have schedules over 500 lines, so the filters are key for me to focus myself and the team. What do you dislike? I wish there was an easier way to set up reports. It looks like there are tons of cool features, but they aren't as user-friendly as some of the other Microsoft Project ...

MS Project 2013 User
What do you like best? I like that you can create presentable reporting directly out of the software. I like what it does on the back end that I do not have to do, like calculating and updating the calculations with changes. What do you dislike? I hate that the timeline bar across the top does not show % complete. Some features seem cumbersome and outdated. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It solves the business problem of ...

Good bones, lacking in detail functionality
What do you like best? I like that it allows access to multiple team members. What do you dislike? It requires each member assigned to a task to track progress, rather than one person being able to mark completion percentages for an entire task. Not easy to view tasks when you have multiple projects. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Company-wide projects are easier with Microsoft Project

Easy to Use
What do you like best? It is easy to use, but the features that you can use it for are limited. I find the 8 hour workday default nice, and the ability to be able to assign roles and allocate resources, but I wish it would have more inbuilt functions, such as assigning costs more easier in the Task Usage view, or an easier way to build Pareto charts right from the software. What do you dislike? I dislike its limitations and I think they really need to come up with more things such as a ...
