Excellent for timelines & long-term planning
What do you like best? I liked how it would auto-create dates & would allow you to customize if weekends/holidays/other non-working days were included. It would alert you if there were conflicts for scheduling. I liked how easy it flowed & how easy it was to ad sub-categories What do you dislike? I didn't like (or didn't understand how certain dates would auto-calculate and when you tried to override them, they'd affect the entire project. It was difficult to figure out a work-around, ...

What do you like best? its slightly more complex to use than basecamp but is a true project management tool What do you dislike? its hard for very basic users and takes significant training Recommendations to others considering the product great tool for complex projects ! MS Project is alright
What do you like best? The best part about MS project is being able to visually plan out a project so all the tasks are transparent. What do you dislike? The costing and resource feature seems redundant as there are many other softwares most companies use to do the cost estimating. Everywhere I've worked had their own costing spreadsheet and Project was used to determine the timing of the project and the resources needed.
