Scheduling a multi-phased project

What do you like best? The best part of MS Project is the ease of use as it fits right with the MS Office suite and therefore is easy for a junior scheduler to pick up. What do you dislike? We were using the online version and had issues with the available features. This caused frustration and delays in producing schedules. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend this product for more entry-level scheduling. We have since moved away from it to another ...

Microsoft Project on a real IT project

What do you like best? The ease of use, for example updating project activities is quick and efficient. What do you dislike? Updating one field often times changes other fields, for no obvious reasons. A lot of education and background knowledge is required to be able to track even a small and straigthforward project. For example, updating Remaining Work updates also Total Work, which is sometimes logica, but in our case it was not necessary if you with to track the Total Planned Work ...

MS Project Review

What do you like best? Great for managing/documenting small to medium size IT projects. It integrates well with other office suite apps, e.g, Excel, Word, Outlook. What do you dislike? The license cost is an add-on to the MS Office suite. A MS Project license can cost almost as much as the MS Office suite. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Ensuring that projects are managed on time and any nuances documented in a single location.

Microsoft Project Nimble and Flexible

What do you like best? I love the fact that you can extend Project with macros with the entire object model available to extend and manipulate.
