Not the best project management software
What do you like best? It's easy to use, since it is a MS product and works the same as the other MS products What do you dislike? For actual project management, this is a "light" software. I work in construction litigation and I don't like that the activity ID changes from one schedule to the next. I don't like that there is no "data date" as other scheduling software has. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We analyze schedules ...

Email and projects fused together
What do you like best? I have found that the fact that it is a Microsoft based product and the fact that my company uses outlook I have been able to blend together my files, projects that are completed/pending, and my emails + calendar all into one easy to use software. What do you dislike? Industry standard for Project Management scheduling software
What do you like best? The resource allocation to tasks is unparalleled. It really helps to get the work done ahead of schedule and pleases clients every time. What do you dislike? Not quote as good as Prima Vera P6 scheduling software, which has a few features that optimizes the process even more. Using Microsoft Project for Beginner
What do you like best? When I first picked up Microsoft Project, it was for a college course that required us to input our work into a chart that shows utilization and ensuring all the man hours are accounted for. This is a very useful software and very much easy to use. I had very to little experience when I first use this, and for a beginner to pick this up and immediately using it. That's a big plus in my eye and I would definitely recommend this to my friends. What do you dislike? ...

Easily managed program
What do you like best? Managing budgets for multiple projects is much easier than having multiple files. Being able to assign tasks to certain groups or individuals allows everyone to know their role and know what other tasks they have on their "to-do list". This program makes projects a little less stressful, as the previous way made it difficult to collaborate remotely - everyone had to meet in a specified location at a specified time to collaborate. What do you dislike? That is is ...

Intuitive to use
What do you like best? I like the software's interoperability with other Microsoft products. What do you dislike? With so many features, the software has a steep learning curve, so it can be difficult to train others on the software with any efficiency. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project management and team communication. It helps to keep team members in touch with each other's work to prevent duplication.

Microsoft PPM, the conveyor of an idea into a product
What do you like best? Microsoft project center is a one stop shop. The best part of the Microsoft PPM tool is it is part of the office 365. Every project opportunity is captured in the project request list. Here the most important parts are the Estimated benefits and estimated cost. This helps the finance department to take a decision to provide approval for an proposal.
