The project manager's standard.

Great for Construction Management
What do you like best? Microsoft Project is very easy to use. The interface is very similar to other Microsoft products like Excell or Word. The design also is represented in a way that it's readable and it displays the information in an orderly fashion. Most of the information displayed is easy to read and does not overlap even when the screen isn't small. What do you dislike? Inputing information for a chart is sometimes confusing. It takes a considerate learning curve to understand ...

Sometimes the ability to share limited sections of the work is challenging. This again could be me as a newbie but sometimes I need to only has certain parts visible with students or other staff and I struggle to ...

Mid-level project user
What do you like best? For flow sheets and project timelines, this software is extremely robust. The tools could easily update timing and dependencies given the right amount of work up front. What do you dislike? Sometimes the automatic logic of sequencing tasks is difficult and counter-intuitive. New tasks added in sequential spots don't always link correctly and are difficult to change without deep diving. Recommendations to others considering the product There is a lot of help ...
