Missing Mac integration
What do you like best? This is a known software that has the basics and more, so it is still the go-to solution for everyone managing a project What do you dislike? Although this is a stalwart in this type of application, the lack of integration with Apple Macintosh computers has ostracized half my staff. The online and mobile versions are still lagging and I feel this is not a solution that works for groups. You'd need a dedicated user keeping updates on his/her own, printing to PDF ...

Microsoft Project has no equal
What do you like best? The greatest thing about Microsoft Project is the integration with other systems. One such integration is with Microsoft's Team Foundation Server. The Holy Grail to me is managing a project portfolio for the enterprise, making the best selections by visualizing IRR, strategic alignment, and access to capital, then executing the project with status rolling up to the executive team from progress tracked in SharePoint, Outlook, TFS, Excel, and other tools. What do you ...

Microsoft Project- Good for the basics
What do you like best? MS Project interface feels like a spreadsheet, so users that have been managing projects in Excel will feel comfortable with the interface and with a little training should be able to pick up the additional features like the Gantt and relationships quickly. For users that have never managed a project, the interface is somewhat intuitive so they should be able to get productive quickly, but again some training or familiarity with project management practices in ...

Team Use Failure
What do you like best? I found Microsoft Project to be a useful program and would have embraced it and probably still be using it, but I could not convince my team members to use it reliably and management as a whole did not support its use so it was a no-win situation What do you dislike? The program is a bit overwhelming for some people trying to use it and changing their minds was not successful What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Microsoft Project
What do you like best? Microsoft Project is a good way to manage a medium to large size project. In combination with the server component, it is easy to do this across a team landscape. What do you dislike? It is hard to ramp up a new person into MS Project. Having an easy edition, with limited options, may be a good start. Otherwise, there is very little to dislike about this product. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Managing ...

GREAT Software
What do you like best? I love that I can use this software and be totally organized at work. It helps me keep track of all of my projects in a neat and tidy way. What do you dislike? Sometimes it runs slow, like all software does. Other than that, there is nothing I dislike. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am very busy at work, managing different projects at once. It keeps me organized and makes me less stressed out at work.

A great way to develop a timeline
What do you like best? TImeline that you can share with others. What do you dislike? Needs to have a function to to email you on dates for deadlines, or reminders. And a freeze function, with an actual adjusted timeline as things change for historical uses. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? deadline management, what's included in the steps, what'smissing,
