Excel is the swiss knife of any computer
What do you like best? It works exactly the same in Windows and in MacOSX, no performance differences, fully extensible with Visual Basic, ugly as it gets sometimes the quickest way to fill something quickly and repetitive is an excel file when you manually introduce some values and Excel fills the rest for you by a Macro, it isn't pretty and my friends who are developers hate it but it works and saves time. One of the best spreadsheet applications ever!
What do you like best? The best thing about Excel is that it is a straight-forward application that did not change its core features over the years. It is super easy to change data or make complex calculations within a few minutes. I am also a big fan of Macros, which helped me automate my daily reports.
