Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a solid application but falls short in key areas.

What do you like best? I like the ability that Microsoft has of handling vast amounts of data and displaying it fluidly. My team (within a small company uses it to track and manage CS data, including phone calls, emails and customer data. It works well to store the data, and it dutifully performs for this purpose. The dashboards and analytics are superb. What do you dislike? I don't like the fact that it is clunky to customize and difficult to get the most out of the program. You must ...

Our company regrets using Microsoft Dynamics and I advise companies not to use it.

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? There's no real positive feature of Dynamics except that it's comprehensive. But it does everything painfully though. The problem with a lot of reviews is that they only get the first impression of the software and they don't have the time to truely use the software on a daily basis with real data and customers. The company I work for has been using Microsoft Dynamics for around a year and it has been a complete nightmare since day ...

Very Powerful Tool

What do you like best? It seems like you'll never know everything there is to know about Microsoft Dynamics; every day you discover something new that you can do with it! My company uses it for managing customer and product information and syncing customer data and behavior with our website. It is incredibly useful, even if the UI / UX could use some work. It's very customizable. It's basically an all-in-one program: you can keep track of ALL the data you need to run your company: from ...

CRM is powerful-if you use it

What do you like best? Once setup, CRM is easy to use, and you can do SO much with it. It's almost like it never ends! We really like to use it to document client contact. What do you dislike? The setup process is gnarly, and there's quite a bit of maintenance to get it to sync with your other systems. I understand it's probably not simple to get thing synced, but key things-like client addresses, aren't updated in CRM when they are updated in our main system. This is frustrating and ...

So much to do on Microsoft Dynamics CRM!

What do you like best? There are so many options with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You can customize it and really make it what you want. The dashboard and features can really help you with planning your day to day and keeping track of everything you do for your accounts. What do you dislike? There are so many options that it can definitely take a little while to understand everything that is available to you. Recommendations to others considering the product It takes a little while to ...

Very User Friendly

What do you like best? Very user friendly for those that also work in other Microsoft programs regularly. What do you dislike? Have had some issues with add ons working together properly with AX2012. Recommendations to others considering the product Very user friendly for those experienced in other Microsoft softwares. The company I work for is all Microsoft based so it makes working in AX2012 relatively effortless in the navigation aspect. There are a lot of of hidden ...

Antiquated Software

What do you like best? Unfortunately, there isn't much I like about this software. What do you dislike? Searching for customers does not function well, even when spelled the same as saved customer accounts often do not come up in the search field. Processing orders is clunky, having to navigate multiple screens that do not clearly transfer information to other departments involved in the order process. For example, you have to override the address in one area, but if that changes ...

CRM REview

What do you like best? You can track all customer interaction – from everyone in your company. Next time you talk to a customer or prospect, you get the upper hand when you know what that company is talking about. You can get the person to feel seen and important. And this history builds a long-time relationship. Emails should be in your system, and not in each person’s mailbox. What do you dislike? Sales is all about being fast. Yes, the maintenance of customer records may sound like ...

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Review

What do you like best? -The ability to create specific activities and assign them to other staff members in addition to adding a due date allows our team to stay organized -The ability to create customized dashboards and view multiple dashboards allows you to save custom views without having to recreate every time -The ability to use the Advanced Find to segment and export contact and account lists are great for marketing purposes: mailing materials to clients, emailing clients, ...

An Old School CRM Tool

What do you like best? Microsoft Dynamics CRM is much more intuitive than other CRM tools and has an extremely easy UI to navigate though. Also, when being trained on Microsoft CRM, it was extremely easy to pick up and begin using. What do you dislike? Although Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a great tool, its interface need an update and the Windows 98 feel has to go. A lot of new age CRM tools look much nicer and have an even easier UI to navigate through. Recommendations to others ...
