"Access for enterprise solutions"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Easy to learn and use. Has the ability to quickly incorporate data sets and provide simple baselines for advanced reporting with other systems. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? The queries and VBA can get corrupt easily. Does not parse large data sets with ease. Better for smaller, individual-use projects behind the scenes with more advanced solutions on other systems. Acce Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Access: Work ...

"Amazing "

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I like how easy it is to use. I enjoy that you can very easily find resources that explain how to go about what you’re doing. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? This is minor but the lag when executing searches could be a little better. It freezes out even on the smaller searches of only using 100 rows. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? I’m able to narrow down certain criteria that I’m looking for ...

"Great for what it is desgined to do"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Great for storing large amounts of information and for running simple queries for reporting. Their form tool is really useful! I have been learning SQL and VBA. MS Access is one of the easiest platforms to use for quick database creation. Even if you aren't a very technical person it is very easy to use, is very user-friendly. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? One thing I wish MS Access could do is import some macros from Excel while ...

"User friendly report writing app"

What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Does have limits because you don't actually do any coding. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? Ability to modify a basic report to support reporting needs for multiple different needs within the company and outside the company.

"Database Work in Student Activities"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I like how Access is so user-friendly and easy to edit. We can find exactly what we need at all times and are constantly building new databases within the software. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? I do not like how sometimes access can't handle the volume of data we are trying to put into it at one time. We manage involvement data for close to 1000 student organizations and over 20,000 students so it is important to have a product ...

"Access Database Review"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Ability to work with data and link it to auto update spreadsheets and web programs. A very useful tool to organize data. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Very manual initially, wish there was easier way to input cells and add links. Wish cells would auto populate like MS Excel does. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Access: If you work a lot with data, Access is overall a very useful tool to help you organize and make ...

"Very outdated and not user-friendly"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I do not like this system at all; there is nothing I like about it. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? The system is antiquated. It may work great for some business models, but I work for a large, global company with hundreds of entities and business units which need to be tracked and this system is too time-consuming to use and difficult to install for new people. Not recommended at all. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft ...
