Merchant One (Clover) owned First Data by is a f**king joke. Currently Merchant One is holding $700+ and keep wanting us to submit additional paperwork (which we have already from our bank). I have been filing complaints w/federal government so that our funds are released....hopefully real soon. DON'T waste your time on this company.

Tanya Jean-Louis Customer Service was professional, understanding and very easy to talk to. As a small business owner, I am always working so much, and things just slip by. She understood my situation and in the future I wish all customer service people where as kind and understanding as her.

Wrongful Charges for Non Compliance Fees

Merchant One told me that I would have to pay a PCI Compliance fee as long as I was a customer. (I have email from the rep) For 3 months I was charged a Non Compliance Fee. They never told me about being PCI Compliance, never sent me the link or helped with that process. I disputed these 3 month charges for non compliance and asked for credit to my account, however, they recently told me that my request was denied. Now I will search for another processor. Poor customer service.

Tricks they use

I opened a business using the service of Merchant One. After closing the account on April of 2024 start receiving bills the last one was in May 2024 the trick they use as soon as you get the invoice to pay your bill will move to collection, today I just paid $100 dollar for 0.36 cent invoice. I called them as soon as I received the bill for the 0.36 cent, I was informed that it went to collection, so I paid the $100 fine. So be aware of this type of tricks.

If I could give zero stars I would! I wish I would have looked more closely at reviews- it says it has five stars but please read the reviews. This is the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER KNOWN. They will take you money, not respond to requests or help you in any way. They take lots of random fees and never follow through. JUST ABSOLUTE SCAM. GO DIRECTLY THROUGH CLOVER FOR THEIR DEVICES OTHERWISE THESE SCAMMERS JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR NO REASON!! You can never get through to them. My money is ...
