"Not user friendly "

"This was a good software for first-time scribes"

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? When I first started scribing, this was the software I used in an ER. The usability was good and the formatting was simple so it was easy to chart. I don’t mind free-typing a lot of sections so Meditech allowed me to do a lot of it. I also liked the automatic importation of data/lab and imaging results in the chart. "Gets the job done, but needs work"

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? I like the simplicity of Meditech. Everything is easy to find and easy to do, but it needs to include more details, especially for charting purposes (I.e. wounds) What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? I don’t like how to find some assessment terms. Also, I feel that more details and/or text boxes can be available to allow for specific charting. Also, it does not appear to be very modern at all. "The worst EMR "

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? The only good part about Meditech is the medication administration. Its easy to use and does the job. But if you have to administer Morphine or another controlled substance it is not very user friendly. What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? Pretty much everything. It is not user friendly. "Good for our needs but could be better"

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? I like the fact that Meditech can keep track of a wide variety of information on many different people and generate some helpful reports. It's fairly easy to learn. What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? I feel like the app is very slow, and I know the work processors aren't ancient, so I'm guessing the program software is laggy. "A dinosaur system that works "

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? I like how easy it is to use and how you don’t even need a mouse to use this system What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? I dislike how old it looks. Also not many others use meditech so when looking at past medical history it causing a damper on things. What problems is Meditech Expanse solving and how is that benefiting you? It provides a ton of benefits. It helps compile all my assessments and it also notifies me when something is not right.

"Hard to Locate Information"

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? I like that you are able to print pretty much anything in the chart. What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? Not everything prints out nicely, and a lot of items print out like a screen shot. It is often difficult to locate certain info, but that could be a user error. What problems is Meditech Expanse solving and how is that benefiting you? We're able to have access to the records from the hospital without having to call or send a fax request.

"Antiquated system"

What do you like best about Meditech Expanse? In the 6 months I’ve been using this system we have not had one unscheduled downtime! What do you dislike about Meditech Expanse? This system is not helpful if quickly obtaining previous patient visit information. The screens are challenging to navigate and pertinent information gets missed.
