Has a lot of functionality but design isn't intuitive for every function
What do you like best? Time tracking is the most useful part of Mavenlink. The way it's connected throughout the various features is really useful. What do you dislike? I dislike the ability to communicate and track tasks within Mavenlink. For this purpose we use Jira in addition. The feature is kind of there in Mavenlink, but the layout and functionality makes it cumbersome and not effective for task management. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Mavenlink Experience
What do you like best? My favorite part is creating templates that we can use time and time again for projects that makes it very easy to build projects that have a similar structure. I also like the ease of reviewing what is scheduled in mass and allocation. What do you dislike? There isn't an easy view of all overdue tasks assigned to me. The difficulty of adjusting hours/budget if you flight across a task Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Review of ML
What do you like best? Timesheets are easy if they're set up the right way. What do you dislike? There is too much noise. Between master planning, timesheets, projects, etc. views, it seems like more could be consolidated for an intuitive experience. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Resource allocation amongst my team. By using the ML API, we pulled data into our analytics platform and created automated reports that indicate ...

A little over complicates and redundant.

Not great, really and who does waterfall anymore anyway?
What do you like best? Honestly, there is just nothing I like about this software. What do you dislike? Pretty much everything from user management, cost, project management and time logging all is outdated and not useful and reports are horrendously bad. Recommendations to others considering the product: There have to be better and less costly tools than this out there, choose one of them What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Very flexible, time-saving tool
What do you like best? I like the ability to keep a chain of message tied to any task or project. It makes it really easy to track exactly what my team members have done and where we stand (when they leave notes, of course) What do you dislike? On first use, the interface and all of the features are very intimidating. Some areas are difficult to find, specifically the search box when trying to search for projects or clients. The drop-down to switch from "Your Projects" to "Joinable ...

UI is not very intuitive. API documentation is not at parity with UI fields.
What do you like best? That an API exists where I can pull the data and build custom reporting because there is very limited reporting available out of the box in Mavenlink. There is an online support chat can help make the poor domumentation navigation more tolerable by finding the information you need for you. What is basically needed is far better search functionality in the documentation. Most sections overlap and you kind of have to scroll through each section to find the resource ...

What do you like best? Visually it is good, you can track time and tasks. What do you dislike? The functionality is still very limited for our use and it is time consuming to set up tasks and projects. It takes a lot of clicks before you can see the task progress Recommendations to others considering the product: Trial it first, make sure it does what you want to do in an efficient way for you What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Might be the worst piece of software I have ever used!
What do you like best? absolutely NOTHING...................... What do you dislike? unintuitive, terrible ux/ui, confusing.. Recommendations to others considering the product: Know what you are getting in to. It may have the features you think you are looking for but nothing is easy or intuitive and never works the way you expect. Unless you have 25 years of project management experience, this tool will be a nightmare. What problems are you solving with the product? ...
