What is Material Security?
Material Security protects Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 across email threats, file exposure, OAuth app governance, account takeover and tenant configuration. It detects email threats that bypass native controls, identifies and remediates sensitive data exposed in files, maintains real-time activity logs for OAuth apps, and contains account takeovers with message-level access controls so a compromised mailbox does not expose its full history. Phishing triage and response are automated. Deployment is API-based with minimal setup, and customers include Mars, NBCUniversal, Reddit, OpenAI, Figma, Datadog and GitLab.
