What do you like best about MariaDB? The functionality of the database, fairly simple to use once you learn how to utilize it. What do you dislike about MariaDB? Nothing at the moment, I have used it for a short period of time but I have no complaints. What problems is MariaDB solving and how is that benefiting you? What do you like best about MariaDB? I really thought it was the easiest database to incorporate in to my virtual machines. I felt like there were tons of documents on the web to help with any issues that arose. What do you dislike about MariaDB? I can't think of anything I disliked. Maria DB worked really well. What problems is MariaDB solving and how is that benefiting you? Using it for inventory. It has worked great.

What do you like best about MariaDB? MariaDB has better query performance. MariaDB has more of an open source attitude. Switching to MariaDB is easy. Galera implementation is better in MariaDB. What do you dislike about MariaDB? Switching back from MariaDB to MySQL may not be so easy. If you are using AWS, Amazon Aurora may be even faster than MariaDB and MySQL. "Early adopter that is in for the long haul"

What do you like best about MariaDB? Blazing (and crash resistant) speed with Aria, safe transactions with standard MySQL syntax. Stable, predictable, growing set of features that satisfies every DB storage need. The ability to deploy delayed replication with relative ease is a bonus. What do you dislike about MariaDB? Clustering side of the software can be very tedious to set up, and we've instead gone with a Master-Slave-Slave setup to ensure integrity Recommendations to others ...

What do you like best about MariaDB? The commitment to open source model and th continued development of innovative features and integrations. The Galera synchronous cluster and Node.js MariaDB Connector are two recent ones that come to mind. What do you dislike about MariaDB? I wish they would finish the Aria DB engines features to make it on par with the InnoDB engine. I wish they would incorporate either the MyDumper or mysqlpump parallel backup tools. What do you like best about MariaDB? Cluster function for wiki or WordPress, compatible with existing mysql. Most of the time I use it to serve woocommerce and it did really good. A lot of bash web server installation script may auto implement Mariadb to your server environment by default and compare to other paid DB, e.g. Oracle, it's works good enough for a blogger. What do you like best about MariaDB? Since MariaDB is a fork of MySQL, the database structure and indexes of MariaDB are the same as MySQL. This allows you to switch from MySQL to MariaDB without having to alter your applications since the data and data structures will not need to change. What do you dislike about MariaDB?
