PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I use Maptitude mainly for strategic logistics studies, so for me the best features are things like: allocating drops to nearest depots, batch time and mileage calculations, volume flow lines, drivetime zones and the facility location tool. Maptitude GiS by far the most powerful, easy to use and cost effective GIS solution out there.

What do you like best? I have used Maptitude since it first came out in Beta. At the time no other GIS program coiuld handle the environmental justice/toxic mapping that I was doing. I used Maptitude and GISDK to create the very first nationwide toxic mapping for EDF. Maptitude still is the most powerful, easy to use and cost effective solution out there. I highly recommend. I've been using Maptitude since the first beta version came out about 30 years ago. I had a project mapping toxic data points across the nation and maptitude was the only GIS that could handle it and it was, to tell the truth, the only one I could afford. Since then many companies have sent me GIS programs in an attempt to switch but none yet come even close to the power and ease of use of Maptitude. Absolutely the best.

Excellent product...but you have to work for it

What do you like best? Maptitude is a very flexible mapping platform with a robust demographics package available for purchase. It is an excellent tool to generate custom maps with and perform spatial analysis. What do you dislike? Documentation is pretty basic. The web tutorials teach one how to use the rudimentary functions of Maptitude but in my opinion, not much more. If you want to make the software sing,you have to teach it the tune one your own. The software is phenomenal

The software is phenomenal. I've been using it for a couple years now, and it allows me to map my data, manipulate my branch's customers, extract it, and analyze it all in one set. The best part, however, is the customer support team. They're willing to set up a review time, and respond promptly with the needed solution.

What do you like best? It's highly detailed yet easy to use. There are so many things you can do, but it all depends on what you want it to do. It's very malleable to your specific business needs. What do you like best? We were looking for something to use in lieu of Business Analyst, and this seems to do the trick, but for $30k cheaper. I have access to traffic counts, local businesses, demographic information, drive times, and aerial imagery, all at the tips of my fingers.
