Amazing transactional email service

What do you like best? It's ease of use. At my last job, we utilized it through SMTP and through the API. Both were extremely simple to use. Having parts derived from MailChimp made the transition into the platform very easy to understand. What do you dislike? Honestly, there wasn't anything that I disliked. Very solid platform. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do it and don't look back! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Mandrill is awesome

What do you like best? It just works. We use Mandrill as a message engine against Salesforce. Its robust APIs are great, but there is enough graphical reporting to demonstrate value to non-technical users. What do you dislike? We really could have used a canonical APEX wrapper for Mandrill. We ended up building this ourselves, but having a 'plugin' for mandrill that gave us queueing and message prioritization as well as an integration with the webhooks via APEX bulk jobs would be ...

Easy to develop against, full featured, good documentation.

What do you like best? Mandrill provides all of the features I've needed with easy to use apis, a great dashboard, and good developer documentation. I like that the design/marketing team can design the email templates right in Mandrill's dashboard, and the engineering team simple needs to send the variables needed to customize the template via the API to send an email. What do you dislike? I'm pretty sure any frustrations I had with Mandrill were just from a lack of time to dive ...

Could not be more impressed!

What do you like best? They know what they are doing. Coming from the MailChimp camp, it is obvious that expertise is at play. As a customer service provider, transactional email is core customer 'touch point'. This platform takes care of all the headaches associated with trying to avoid being blacklisted. Templating ability is simple and effective. Analytics simple and effective, with the ability to add our own data points being a huge plus. Inbound API hooks - excellent ...

Easy to set up, reliable, and powered by MailChimp!

What do you like best? We used Mandrill to automate our transactional email for Lunker.com and help us get past spam filters. Their API instructions were a little hard to figure out at first, but after a few hours of reading we figured out that interfacing with Ruby was actually pretty simple. Mandrill turned out to be very effective in delivering our messages, and the 12,000 free message limit is great for small startups that are just ramping up. What do you dislike? I wish the ...
