correct process for a referral

Is it the correct process that when a person introduces a client to Luno the client has to send a screenshot of the downloaded app to the person who introduced the client? I have someone trying to get me to sign up but they want me to send them a screenshot of the downloaded app after I have installed the app from Play Store.

Hi there, thank you for the response. My issue was resolved this morning. Apologies - I think I erroneously referred to WhatsApp - it’s a messaging system on the App that I used. I also sent an email to the support email address. I don’t think the account has been compromised. Thank you for your assistance, I appreciate it.
