Loom has completely transformed the way I communicate with my team and clients. Loom pros and cons
Loom is widely appreciated for its user-friendly interface that allows professionals to quickly record and share videos without technical barriers. Its Chrome extension, desktop, and mobile apps make screen and camera recording accessible from any device.
By enabling asynchronous video messaging, Loom helps organizations reduce the need for lengthy meetings, streamlining communication and boosting productivity across remote and hybrid teams.
Users benefit from Loom’s intuitive editor, which allows trimming, stitching, and adding visual elements like arrows, text, and overlays, resulting in more polished and engaging content.
The platform enhances engagement with built-in features such as emojis, comments, transcripts, and closed captions in over 50 languages, making global collaboration easier.
Since Loom is designed primarily for asynchronous communication, it lacks robust real-time collaboration features compared to platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Free accounts often face restrictions on video length, storage, and advanced features, which may require teams to upgrade for more comprehensive use.

"Transforms Communication at Work"
What do you like best about Loom? Ease of use. The next best feature is working across the globe. If I have someone who works somewhere that is never ideal for both parties trading video responses to get an idea across is easy, simple, and I can actually track how much and when they watched it. What do you dislike about Loom? The only dislike I would say is around getting my business to buy in. We have teams who love it, but don't use it enough to justify the monthly cost. This is more of a ...

"Lily's Review"
What do you like best about Loom? Straight forward layout - very user friendly. Having my face on the bottom right hand side in a clean bubble is also fantastic. It makes the video incredibly personal. The recording canvas is also a fun touch. What do you dislike about Loom? There have been loading issues in the passed that have taken hard refreshes to fix. I'm not sure if this is specific to the laptop I have been using or an issue with the product specifically. Recommendations to others ...

"Simplifies customer support, project management, and internal training"
What do you like best about Loom? The fact that this is all cloud-based saves an enormous amount of time. You don't have to spend time rendering the video and then uploading it to YouTube or Vimeo. "Great product!"
What do you like best about Loom? The ability to quickly and easily grab a screen record and share makes this a great tool when training my team. What do you dislike about Loom? None! It's great. I honestly wouldn't change anything! What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you? We are using this as a training tool. Now, when my employees forgot the thing I taught them- they go watch the video instead of asking me or doing it incorrectly.

What do you like best about Loom? Loom is a great tool for streamlining communications across multiple parties.
