"Implementation of Logicmonitor was very easy and quick!"

What do you like best? Very intuitive interface. Requires very little knowledge of how the application functions unlike other monitoring applications I have used in the past like zabbix, cacti, ganglia and nagios. What do you dislike? Matching devices to alert rules can be a little challenging. Logicmonitor tries to guess which device(s) you want to the rule to apply to by what you start typing. What do you like best about LogicMonitor? I had a project where I was reviewing all of our clients to ensure the devices we are servicing are being monitored in LogicMonitor. What do you like best about LogicMonitor? Cloud-based. "Excellent monitoring tool"

What do you like best? I like the flexibility provided by this agent-less tool. You can easily monitor almost any device and even many applications. What do you dislike? The REST API should be more full-featured and there seems to be a lack of expertise in the support team. Getting an issue resolved or a question answered can take days (or longer). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Thorough monitoring over a large customer base.

"Good product but requires elbow grease to get the most out of it"

What do you like best about LogicMonitor? It's simple to add devices and setup basic monitoring. Other aspects such as ESXi, Nimble Array, and other device monitoring is simple to setup as well. It only requires an additional login to pull stats from vCenter, Nimble, etc. WMI setup and Windows/Linux process monitoring is simple to setup once the basic monitoring is configured first. What do you like best about LogicMonitor? Easy to learn yet powerful under the skin. LogicMonitor really is both for the lazy sysadmin and the Powershell God alike. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? Its not free. However, you do get awesome support and people who really do seem to care about your deployment. What do you like best about LogicMonitor? Ease of use and setup. Almost no manual configuration. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? Alerting can be cumbersome to figure out. What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you? Had zero insight into the our environment. No single place to go to figure out what was causing issues or to see if it was running right. After I get Logic Monitor installed the default metrics and alerts gave me a hit list of what to fix.
