"Great monitoring platform"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? The single best feature is the agentless architecture. It allows us to have a small footprint on our clients and makes deployment very quick. Our on-boarding times dropped substantially once we adopted logic monitor. As our deployments matured the biggest win has been adaptability. The extensible nature of LM has allowed us to readjust as our needs and products evolve. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? Some technical choices I don't agree ...

"Logicmonitor has been a night and day comparison from our old monitoring system. We love it. "
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? Ability to visualize everything that is being monitored on a server with ease. Ability to quickly alert when a device stops sending critical datapoints. The frequency of upgrades and new features implemented into the platform is very encouraging. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? There is a lack of standard monitors that should be included or built without the need for professional services. Applications such as Sharepoint and SQL always on ...

"Excellent monitoring tool"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? I like the flexibility provided by this agent-less tool. You can easily monitor almost any device and even many applications. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? The REST API should be more full-featured and there seems to be a lack of expertise in the support team. Getting an issue resolved or a question answered can take days (or longer). What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you? Thorough monitoring over a large ...

"Logic Monitor Review"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? The thing I like the best while using LogicMonitor is the ease of use of the software. Working for a Managed Service Provider we have extensively tested multiple network monitoring platforms. Very few monitoring platforms out there offer all the features that LogicMonitor offers. Migrating away from our previous monitoring platform to LogicMonitor was a very simple process. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? It's hard to think of something I ...

"Great Cloud Based Monitoring Solution..."
What do you like best? I really like the dashboard flexibility as some clients like certain data sets vs others. The security is very slick and allows us to create whatever level of access is required. The system sets up quick and is usually pretty painless to implement connectors and attached servers. What do you dislike? For the most part the product handles what we need and does it well. Would like some wizards to recognize certain types of network equipment. Would also be very cool to ...

"Implementation of Logicmonitor was very easy and quick!"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? Very intuitive interface. Requires very little knowledge of how the application functions unlike other monitoring applications I have used in the past like zabbix, cacti, ganglia and nagios. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? Matching devices to alert rules can be a little challenging. Logicmonitor tries to guess which device(s) you want to the rule to apply to by what you start typing. What I found out is that it doesn't always guess correctly ...

"Excellent product/service; absolutely deserves consideration and evaluation"
What do you like best? Historically, effective network monitoring functionality has been extremely difficult to achieve: Absent environments who staff network monitoring operations with devoted full-time resources, a full-time network engineer like myself can only give part-time attention to monitoring operations. Unfortunately, network monitoring applications invariably required a large amount of effort simply to sustain themselves in the form of server, storage and OS administration. My ...

"One of the best most flexible monitoring solutions we have used"
What do you like best? The flexibility of what can be monitored, how alerting is routed and the many, many options for dashboard widgets make for a a very customizable tool. LogicMonitor is continuously adding new datasources and is very responsive to requests for new items. What do you dislike? The support team appears to be mostly in another geography so there is some lag in response to support requests. The Windows Event Log alerting, although limited by what is available in Windows, ...

"A Savior for Managed Service Providers"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor? The ability to implement a system that allows a single pane of glass for our NOC. With the dashboards there isn't much searching that is needed to find what places are having issues. On top of that, when a new customer comes on, the deployment is a much easier process. In the past with other monitoring systems we had to setup VPN tunnels and jump through hoops to make sure we could properly monitor a customers systems. What do you dislike about ...
