"Helping our MSP be more flexible in the cloud"

What do you like best about LogicMonitor? LogicMonitor has a primary focus on the cloud. Being able to monitor Azure subscriptions beyond just the VM's is a requirement and the setup is easy. When we run into issues we can reach to the support and they spend all the time needed to help solve our issues. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? Our only issues come down to scaling as an MSP to the amount of devices we need to monitor and the cost break out. We'd also like to be able to ...

"Super Flexible, does just about everything."

What do you like best about LogicMonitor? If you can script it, you can do it. Super extensible, but also very usable out of the box. You can use their built in datasources, or create your own to do almost anything. There is also a big community that shares their own datasources they have written on their own that can be used. You can also tokenize dashboards, which allows you to use them with various departments or customers. They can be dynamically filled with resources so that you don't ...

"LM Tool Greatness"

What do you like best about LogicMonitor? The easy and fast way to implement monitoring for all kind of win, linux and six systems. What do you dislike about LogicMonitor? I would not call this a dislike, but an improvement that us needed. When new features and ways to monitor I dont see much training courses available. What problems is LogicMonitor solving and how is that benefiting you? When I brought in LM I was trying to resolve multiple infra oos issues that the NOC kept seeing. We ...

"A great product with a solid API"

What do you like best? If you are integrating LogicMonitor into Operations, you will need to automate provisioning, alerting, RBAC, etc. and for that you need a soid API. LogicMonitor's REST API is key to this, and provides full access to all of LogicMonitor's features. If it can be done in the UI (and there is a LOT that can!), it can be done in the API. What do you dislike? There is no event feed - I would like to see a pub/sub model added to the API for all actions performed via the UI ...

"Monitor without worrying about your monitors"

What do you like best? Stable product. We have been using LogicMonitor for the past 4 years now and we did not have any major issues with it that caused us any problems. User Interface has come a long way. Once you get the hang of it, it is fairly easy to use. Many integration options to other 3rd party products and seamless integration. LM Tech Support Engineers are one of the best in this field. I have always dealt with very competent engineers that are willing to solve and help your ...
