"Very good system, does crash due to traffic sometimes"

What do you like best about Lightspeed Retail? This system is very efficient, you are able to live search inventory, take and check in purchase orders, the pos is very fast and efficient which smart reads cards. Purchases were very quick to check out. Learning how to use this system was fairly simple. Being able to see reports quickly and compare our current days sales to those in the previous years was very helpful in our ability to reach sales goals.

"Great POS System"

What do you like best about Lightspeed Retail? Lightspeed is a great POS system that can be used for both online and in-store retail. The software is easy to learn, easy to use, and has excellent support. The inventory management is better than other eCommerce software I've used - you can control your inventory using POs, create SKUs, manage product assets and copywriting, and see where your inventory stands in just a few clicks. The omnichannel retail features are nice in an ever-changing ...

"Very easy to use, simple design"

What do you like best about Lightspeed Retail? I like how easy to use Lightspeed is. My first day using it, I didn't need anyone to coach me through anything - it's all very straightforward. There are no unnecessary steps for transactions, making it efficient. I like that transactions can be put on hold so that you can start and stop a transaction to complete later.

"Terrible - False Promisews"

What do you like best about Lightspeed Retail? It’s basically a glorified cash register that allows you to use a scanner and look fancy while checking people out. They have many known bugs with the product that they are unwilling to fix. We have contacted them and on every occasion, we get the run around about contacting the development team to address the issue or trying to solve it with some sort of work around. We don't need work arounds for issues that should and do function on many ...

Missing a core element of a POS

PROS: Customer service can be ok if you hang up on them and keep calling until you get someone that is knowledgeable. CONS: Missing a core element of a POS that they refuse to fix while they continue to add new features. They need to focus on the core. Any retail environment that orders products by the case for any reason will be fed up with this system. The case item when broken down into singles do not communicate with each other for re-ordering. So if you set a level of singles, say at 6 ...

"Lightspeed Retail is awesome!"

What do you like best about Lightspeed Retail? I love how user-friendly and intuitive Lightspeed is. Their support center and team is great, too. It is just so simple to use; I wish more POS systems were like Lightspeed. I love all of the features it offers and am always learning more ways to make the POS work better for us on a day-to-day basis,
