Lightspeed Trust
My bike shop has been using Lightspeed for over seven years and it's our daily driver. This professional and efficient program builds in organization and data in functional, intuitive use. There's not many drawbacks as the general job it does is polished, though customizing some tools would be great to maximize my shop's needs. Reps are always excellent to work with, knowledgeable and helpful. The value is decent and the program is trustworthy.

Great for retail with tons of inventory
Switched from an antiquated POS to Lightspeed POS 2 years ago. Very Happy with platform for our retail stores. Recently switched to their payments and am happy with this change as well (was on Worldpay).

Griffin Jewelry loves using Lightspeed! This cloud based software allows me to check sales & view reports anywhere I have access to the internet. It is easy to look up the status of a work order. I can quickly communicate the status to a customer via text. The report option allows us to retrieve data with the us of an Ipad and the cloud. We can readily track inventory, sales, and work orders. A Great Choice for a Growing Business
I've been using lightspeed for 10 years. I started with lightspeed pos and migrated to lightspeed retail. I went to lightspeed retail because I opened more locations and liked that all locations were linked on the cloud platform. Migrating the inventory was easy. I find lightspeed cloud to be very user friendly and intuitive. Training new staff on the platform is easy and after one training shift they are ready to go. For myself, I like the reports. Lightspeed is such an amazing tool
Lightspeed is such an amazing tool. We have both their retail and online portion for our store. If I need any help whatsoever, they will walk me through the process so I can learn it (as I am not tech savvy). We just renewed our after 3 years, I cannot imagine running my business without the help of Lightspeed.

I applied 2 weeks ago, and never got any response. Are they still in business? I've asked them about my application, and I still don't get a response. Big red flag for me.!! [ update ]. The application said they would get in touch with me. After two weeks, I reluctantly gave them a call. I am still in the onboarding phase of using Lightspeed Retail. Their onboarding staff is helpful, organized, and sensible. I have spent a long time researching 12 different platforms before deciding with multichannel platform to move my electronics business to. Great platform
We migrated from a US based cloud platform almost a year ago. We went with the server version as a backup and it has been great as we have rather continuous internet outages, but our ability to process transactions has not been affected. Lightspeed being Canadian has also been a plus because they understand our tax law as well as expception processing which our previous processor never really had clear. Lightspeed truly understands the…
Lightspeed truly understands the realities of a small business. We’ve been with them since there very first version ''onsite'' and now moved over to 'retail cloud-based' system and it’s a great solution for us. It's a flexible platform that allows you to all so intergrate to 3rd party apps.

Simply 100% unreliable
Simply 100% unreliable. In a busy business like a restaurant, losing all your open bills and not being able to login for 4 days is catastrophic. Now this is the second time it happens in the same month!
