My wife had lightspeed for her book store, I run a laser engraving business and was not quite sure if it would work, and at first it was a learning curve but after now 8 months I am very happy with Lightspeed. With Retail, and Ecomm working together I don't need spent lots of time to get things done.

Long Time Customer and Very Happy

Lightspeed was one of the few Apple based POS systems when we started 15 years ago and they have made our lives so much easier. They helped us through the growth and change our business has undergone through the years and the customer service is top notch. I have, on many occasions, been on the phone with someone for long stretches trying to track down a problem. They are very patient and listen well to our concerns. Poco Loco Swim Shop has been a fan of Lightspeed sine 2014

We've been using Lightspeed since around 2014 when we were first transitioning from an old school manual register to a computerized one. Lightspeed was our second go around with a fully computerized and integrated POS system because we needed something that could easily be mobilized when we had pop-up shops. Was sold on features the KDS doesn't have

Was sold on features the Kitchen Display didn't have but were "about to roll out". Fast forward a year later and nothing has changed. Plenty of calls and e-mails to development and we were just ignored. Of course as soon as its time to renew I have 3 sales reps telling me "oh so sorry, let me look into this" while they also raise my rates $100 a month. Never again.

Use anyone else. Worst company!

We were shopkeep customers for over 10 years. They have destroyed the company. Worst customer service we have EVER received. If there's one thing you need in a retail setting, it's a register that works. Consistently. And if it doesn't, you need people to help. you quickly and fix it. Lightspeed does none of that. Wasted hours and hours on hold to no avail. HORRIBLE company!! Shopping new POS. Stay away from them and from Shopkeep.

The set up take time when we start from…

The set up take time when we start from scratch but the system is easy to understand and they us training and fellow up. When everything is set up it's friendly user and live online all the time. Support answer fast. Friendly user

Very user friendly for our staff

Very user friendly for our staff, we have some "older" staff that are not very computer knowledgeable and they were able to learn the workflow very easily, and our younger staff love it because its like using their phone. We have recommended Lightspeed restaurant to other restaurant operators. Reporting is great, back office can be accessed from a tablet our phone to make changes and see reports on the fly. Overall very happy with our decision to move forward with Lightspeed. Thank you!

UPDATE JUNE 6th. Many thanks to a Lightspeed retention team employee! This individual was great at resolving my issues before they 'blew up. But I must say, that on my final day of deliberation between keeping Lightspeed or switching to Shopify, I placed a call to the 'retail support line' at Lightspeed at approximately 11am. I left a 'voice mail' after about an hour on hold, and received a callback around 4-5 hours later. This was the final nail in the coffin for Lightspeed, because with ...
