Probably the best for small businesses
Probably the best for small businesses. I've had lightspeed for a couple of years now. I believe it is a very powerful system that is within reach for so many small businesses. In my industry, there are a couple of common software options that others like me use. But they're at a minimum close to three times the cost. Lightspeed provides me with 90% of the features that those systems do and gives me plenty of what I need even as we grow.

This is a great POS system that we have used for the past 3 years. It has a lot of features to keep track of staff, product availability and managing sales. The system is very easy to use and navigate.

Backend Down for 2 days, Support is lacking, Advanced Reporting is basic reporting
PROS: very simple to use. End user friendly. Easy for staff. When it works it works, every once in a while they seem to make a change that creates havoc on your business then it takes them forever to fix it. CONS: Our back end is reporting zero sales, all receipts gone, etc. for the last 2 days. Front Line support only offers to escalate, we are basically dead in the water. Been calling support since it occurred. Advance reporting is fairly basic. API - I had asked about limitations on the ...

We have been using Lightspeed for a few…
We have been using Lightspeed for a few years now. I find it easy to use and add products/modifiers. Really easy to get staff trained up on the system even when they do not know what all the drinks are yet. I really love how the gift cards are integrated right into the system and have never had a problem with one being loaded. Would recommend to anyone in the food industry.

Great App! Great Price!
Lightspeed Restaurant POS is all I could have asked for and more in a POS system for my cafe. From the menu setup to floor management, and customer information are just some of the wonderful features. The Kitchen Display system and third-party app integration aid in the workflow so much! I chose Lightspeed Commerce Inc and am very staisfied!
This is my first endeavor into the eCommerce world and I chose Lightspeed to host my new business. I don't have a lot of technical expertise, and Lightspeed has made their live resources invaluable to me. The fact that I can get a live person on the phone who knows what they're talking about is just amazing! And every single person I seek help from also has a personality. I really enjoy working with Lightspeed.

Two thumbs up for lightspeed
So far the system has been very efficient,. Needless to say I'm very happy with customer service as also the system. From product input to running the system with what your business sells on a day basis, it's all there. I highly recommend lightspeed,. Especially when your adding product everytime to your business.,
