"Lightspeed is for Everyone!"
What do you like best about Lightspeed Restaurant? Lightspeed is able to handle restaurants from quick-serve to table service with no problems. We have used it for both types of restaurants. We had servers who waited tables in our fine dining space, and we have a self-service model where the customers order on ipads on their own! Both have worked great with Lightspeed. Excellent Point of Sale
Lightspeed has transformed our business. Our systems are more integrated and we can track our personnel and basic inventory. We can tailor menus to suit our business. Great functionality and ease of use. You can't go wrong with this point of sale. Buy it!!

The POS is working great but there is…
The POS is working great but there is issue that the order ones placed to the kitchen can't be modified. If customer says to modify anything after placing the order, the counter employee has to go to the kitchen to inform for modifications. Apart from this in kitchen display if new order window gets at the bottom it hides one item at the bottom which causes one item missing in the order.

Depends Who You Deal With
Their platform is fantastic, and an account executive by the name of Taylor Richison is truly amazing. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ends. For your sake, I hope you never need to ask for something even slightly out of the ordinary and you never need the Order Ahead feature. You won't get someone to help you for weeks.

We have been using lightspeed for 6 years now and I like how easy it is to use and how it comes with so many features that are useful in our business. It is very organized and you are able to look up records and sales from years passed and compare which allows you to grow your business.

Great platform
Great platform, handles multiple physical locations, ecom, inventory, reporting, taxes etc... really well. Easy enough for new retail staff to pick up immediately and make sales. Highly recommend.

A disappointed user
I have been using Lightspeed for 5 months, and I cant dislike them more. The front office is good maybe even great (depending on your business) I definitely feel it is not appropriate for bars. FSR and QSR maybe, but only if you never need to speak to customer service about difficult questions. You only have access to the low level support. Best Piece of Software
This is the best piece of software our company has every purchased. The inventory process and POS system are above all of the other software we looked at. The only downside is that the ecommerce side of the software could be more robust.
