Lightspeed has been very easy to use
Lightspeed has been very easy to use. It is fast and I am able to find the information I'm am looking for quickly. I was wondering during if there was a way, with the gift receipts, we were able to pick what will be printed on them. Some customers buy for multiple people in one transaction, but the gift receipts only show all item in the transaction.

Price Increase!!!
Don`t be surprised when your next annual bill comes with more than 72% price increase and lame explanation. I guess this is because it takes ages to configure all the products, options, outlets and VEND knows that they can get away with that.

They say 24/7 customer service. That's a lie! You can barely ever get anyone on the phone have the time even during their hours of operation which are really only 9-5 cst. I purchased the equipment from them because he had alot of features. The man who sold me the equipment sent stuff that wasn't even compatible with each other. I would email him with no response. Call and he wouldn't answer the phone. This was after I said I wanted to return the equipment because it wouldn't work for me. I ...

Run away, they are selling a lie
Run away, what they are selling is a lie. I clearly told the Lightspeed x (Vend) sales rep what I needed. Turns out, they sold me something that can't do what I require, unless I spend a ton more money. I CANNOT reach any customer service, their so called 24/7 customer service is bots. I called almost three hours ago, I was supposed to get a call back. Nothing. I used their online chat it is very basic with poor programming and kicks you out. Shopkeep and Upserve from Lightspeed is buggy with lying incompetent support.
When Shopkeep doesn't work, which is often, I always end up trying to fix it myself and avoid the 60-90 minute wait time to talk to their worthless support department that doesn't know how to fix anything. Then after you sign up for Shopkeep they try to upsell you to Upserve, their higher priced offering. We signed up for Upserve in May 2022 and they promised it would be setup and working by the end of June 2022. Its now November 29, 2022 and it doesn't work. And they billed for four ...

We started with ShopKeep and the company was great. We are a seasonal retailer and last year during our busy time of the year we had many many problems. Everyone was on chat kept telling me they would escalate and someone would get back with me. No one provided me any solid answers. Lightspeed has brought us to the new age
Lightspeed has replaced our antiquated p.o.s system and we're happy we made the move. It has enabled us to make menu changes much easier, has enabled us to sync across deliery platforms and allowed us to offer customers the option of ordering online. They offer a very complete solution for all our restaurant needs. We've experienced very few downsides like longer wait times for live phone support and price increases however we are happy with the overall service
