Lightspeed's Money Grab

I have also been affected by Lightspeed's money grab! I have been a Vend/Lightspeed user for over 7 years and I won't bow to their bullying. They expect me to either pay them AU$1370 per month to exercise my freedom of choice to remain with a trusted and government regulated bank, or pay for their payment processing which, from their published rates online indicate, will cost more than TRIPLE what I am paying now. We have been charged $1622 for nor reason. They just sent email to say they are refunding it. I asked for someone to call me regarding lightspeed payments that they are starting to charge. Not happy,I will wait to see if anyone reaches out.

Forcing existing customers…

Forcing existing Australian customers to use their merchant facilities or pay huge fees on top of their monthly subscription fee, I have just been debited $340 for the month on top of the $169 monthly fee paid for using their POS with my existing eftpos facility through my bank, as I had been for the 5 years prior, disgusting, do not recommend

Just received an invoice for $680 to process payments from Tyro (no charge ever before). Told this will be a monthly charge unless we use lightspeed payments at twice the cost of Tyro. Looking for new POS.

Used to be fine but the blackmail…

Used to be fine but the blackmail charges now to use their payment system or get charged ridiculous processing fees has me going elsewhere. The fees on their payments are nearly twice what I am paying now. Do your research before being conned by Lightspeed.

I've never been more convinced to have…

I've never been more convinced to have a bon fire with our installation faster than talking to the Lightspeed account manager today 1 month post sale. Still not up and running. God help anyone buying this system. Not a fan. Unless you are across this inside out expect nothing post sale. Nothing! Oh except we already already talked about that 6mths ago!

Disgusting charges

Just spoken to my account manager who has confirmed i will be charged £1120.00 per month if i dont switch to there payment provider by the end of this month, im in a 4 year contract with my current payment provider who give me excellent rates and im very happy with, ive been using Vend / Lightspeed for over 10 years now and it deeply integrated into my business and have spent thousands on development work, i feel unbelievably angry and disappointed with this blatant money grab. We have been dealing with Lightspeed for many years and while the software performs very well. We do not appreciate that they are trying to force us to use their payment processing which provides higher fees then our current provider. Light speed is charging us a monthly fee of $400 saying they charge everyone who doesn’t use their service because people are calling in with credit card processing questions.
