STAY AWAY

We have enjoyed using Vend for years and the whole product since Lightspeed acquired them has gone down hill. Forcing customers to take their integrated payment solution and threatening therm with exuberant fines is quite frankly astounding. Have lost total faith in them and if you are considering using their EPOS I would stay well away. Gangster behaviour.

Think twice before using Lightspeed

I have been a Lightspeed customer for many years but I am feeling leveraged and taken advantage of with this new credit card third party processing fee. My current monthly rate is $127 and if I choose not to process my credit cards with them it will go to $327. That is an increase of 158.48%. This isn't a penalty it's criminal. Terrible money grabbing sharks

Terrible money grabbing sharks. My independent boutique, Portabella, in Bristol, has used this app (formerly Vend) for over 7 years but their recent and blatant abuse of power by introducing 'third party transaction fees' which are MORE than my card transactions with Barclays cost each month, means I can't wait to leave them!!! I have found the perfect Epos solution so by all means get in touch with me and I'll happily share.

I have said this before and I agree…

I have said this before and I agree with some of the other comments. but lightspeed really is just getting worse and worse. Support are slightly helpful but never seem to know how to fix the actual issue. The big question is really. Anyone got any recommendation for other EPOS systems?

Horrendous Service. Beware of Lightspeed

Update 10th September Issues have now been finally resolved, hopefully!! It should not take this long. The POS and back office works well and meets our needs. Lightspeed realy need to sort their customer service out. Have increased to two stars from one, simply to reflect that the POS works but the customer service lets them down. Extremely poor performance!

Extremely poor performance!! I tried reaching out to my account manager, finally after trying for more that a month she phoned and got my POS canceled as requested. One month after cancellation, I am still waiting for my refund, as I paid annually. They do not respond to any of my calls or emails. Communication and customer service has been extremely poor throughout my time with Lightspeed, and somehow gotten worse since chasing my money owed.

Going down the drain... sad... :-(

Long time customer on both Vend and Kounta (now both Lightspeed) for retail and hospitality. Forced to Lightspeed payments with a hefty penalty if we didn't. Lightspeed Payments is not fit for production as it is completely unstable and being rolled out in a scale that their support teams and account managers can't handle... Long term customer very disappointed

I have been using Lightspeed/Vend for many years. I have used it in conjunction with Tyro payments, whom I am very happy with. Last month I was notified by Lightspeed that I would have to use their payment system or I would be charged an additional $400 per month which is completely unaffordable for a small business. ALL RETAIL TRADERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

Very disappointed with Lightspeed. After some research we chose to move to Lightspeed for our EPOS system. We transferred from the old system to Lightspeed in March of this year. At no point were we told that we would be forced to use their payment system as we have a payment system linked to our bank that we're perfectly happy with.
