PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH LIGHTSPEED ! THEY WILL HAVE YOU BY THE BALLS ! Since may of 2023 if you do not change your merchant service to Light speed they will charge your 10X the monthly payment you have been paying previously. You cant even take your customers past history of purchases. Only their names can be exported. We signed up back in 2016 and we had no problem with them until they forced us to change our merchant company to there own. They are running their business like a mafia ...

Retail Nightmare
So far I cannot run a simple daily report telling me the items sold for the day without upgrading plans. Also there is NO WAY to refund a credit card charge. Customer service is a joke and suggests doing things repeating the sales and then refunding in cash.

LIGHTSPEED=EXTORTION
So yeah, same as everyone else recently. Forcing you to take on their merchant facilities or pay double transaction fees. Shame on you Lightspeed. Going to the ACCC as are I'm sure are many others.

The worst ... right up there with ICARE
I have been a customer of Kounta for about 7 years with no real issues, fast service and good troubleshooting. Now its lightspeed, I would rate this company -20 stars if I could. This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with it .. oh wait... Icare is up there with them... The only saving grace is that I am moving to square so I dont have to deal with the ineptitude and total lack of any ability to talk to anyone in this company. They forced me to transfer to ...

If I could give 0 stars I'd give that but the 1 star is for the little bit of support we had 3 years ago when we set up the Kounta POS. Now, since all the support of Kounta, that has changed to Lightspeed, has gone overseas and there is absolutely nothing or no-one to help when things don't work, our experience has been absolutely terrible. They forgot to invoice us for over 16 months and now sent us a +$6000 bill for the time we used Kounta. They are way to expensive for what you ...

Lightspeed is charging us THOUSANDS a month because we chose not to use their merchant processing!
Started working with Lightspeed about a year ago and it was great until now. We received an email from a rep indicating we would have a $400 monthly fee if we did not switch over to their merchant processing. I have over a dozen emails with her on this topic and all the details and not one single time was it mentioned that there would be an additional fee of .58% of our monthly sales in addition to the $400 fee. Lightspeed S-series being phased out
I have been made aware that Lightspeed S (originally Shopkeep) is being phased out through doing my own research and confirmation of this by members of the support team. Issues with equipment and the app have required a huge amount of time spent online chatting with the support folks – often with no fixes. Being a small business, I can’t afford that kind of time. Integration with Xero for sales, purchasing and surcharges not possible
Intergration with Xero for sales relies on perfect end of day cash ups and reconciliations which hardly happens. This then creates incorrect accounting entries in Xero as creates a payment in the bank account when it actually is not a payment on the bank statement. We ended up switching this off - as a Charted Accountant this was very disappointing. Also the purchasing module is totally manual and not workable.
