Awful experience
Awful experience. Try to force you to use their integrated terminal or else will charge you tier fees. Funny how they have voice mail recording for current customer but, would pick up their phone for new customers stright away. Greed!

Lighspeed is unethical
Lightspeed over charges for their software and in 2022 changed terms to bully clients into using their payments program. Promising to beat rates forcing retailers to leave long standing business relationships. They do not beat rates. After my last 12 months with lightspeed. ANYONE considering Lightspeed should RUN! If you are with lightspeed switch. I am going to use these next 12 months to move POS companies. LIghtspeed is awful.

Went out of their way to support post setup
We set up with Lightspeed earlier in the year and Blanca helped us through every step of the way, ensuring that she kept checking in and coming out to the venue to assist. Even 9 months later she was still helping us sort issues which she would personally fire up to the head of support even though she was only meant to help with implementation.

A workflow that is flawed and never fixed
This is the first of many one-star reviews I will be giving Lightspeed. I have been a customer since 2008, through various iterations of the desktop app and eventually migrating to the cloud-based app. The one constant has been Lightspeed's refusal to upgrade or fix the app in ways that are meaningful to retail users. Forcing customers to use a vend payment…
Forcing customers to use a vend payment system otherwise charging them a fee is nothing less than extortion. Very very disappointed. Online chat is a joke and please wait days on end for the account manager to contact you. Very disappointed. Will report them to Accc
