20 years in business with multiple locations and decided to try lightspeed at one of my restaurants because i consider myself an apple guy. Worst decision i ever made, for the most part i got the worst dealer ever, where they don’t know what they are selling, most of the issues i have had to resolve myself by calling the company direct, and that sometimes is a challenge as well. Excellent system

Excellent system. Firstly, we're a British based bicycle shop. New owners of an established business with no EPOS or stock control system. We looked long and hard at a number of companies and received many quotes. Lightspeed was by far the cheapest - spread over 4 years, it equaled the annual maintenance contract of other major systems (who charge up to 15K up front) and that included the hardware. Switched to Lightspeed Excellent

We switched to Lightspeed for our 3 retail stores about two years ago. Shortly thereafter launched our eCom site as well. We are completely satisfied with the functionality and great customer support. Their first level support is very knowledgeable and solves most issues with one call.

Light either doesn't Understand or Care about Business

When the system is down they turn off their customer service. It is not a system a business can depend on and I am hoping there is a class action lawsuit to recoup the thousands of dollars in losses we've incurred. Maybe there isn't anything better on the market but this isn't a system you can rely on and as long as we keep paying them they don't seem to care. They've even gone so far as to block my comments on Facwbook.
