I have been using Lightspeed for just under two years now.I'm not a book keeper by any means but this system simplified the entire process.

Support has all but disappeared. What a shame.
We have been using the system for over a year. The support when it was Kounta was very impressive and made it worth the expensive monthly subscription. We are a business in a remote location so having access to online or phone support is crucial. Since Lightspeed took over, there is absolutely zero support. Phone calls to support are put on hold for exactly 12 minutes before you get an automated response saying they can't take the call and to try the support chat within the app. Support ...

Disappointing customer service
The software is excellent, but there is an issue with customer support and their approach to the hospitality sector in these difficult times. Although, we have been closed for a number of months they are still insisting that we pay for all software subscriptions even though that they are not been used. The hospitality sector needs all the help it can get, but gets zero assistance from Lightspeed.

Stay Away from LightSpeed
Most frustrating time with the software. Refunds are allowed only before 4pm EST. Debit card refunds are to be made by cash payments. These are just few of the many problems we faced as a retailer using lightspeed pos and payment gateways. I personally wouldn't recommend this software but to each his own.

Packs some punch among the punchless
We are a 40 year Brick and Mortar AND E-commerce company that carries 1000s of unique skus. Needing a software that is heavier than just the POS is essential. Inventory management and the ability to integrate with E-commerce was a non-negotiable for my next POS. Lightspeed does have some frequent, mostly minor bugs, it is nice that they constantly update and enhance their program. I have been using Lightspeed since opening my business four years ago. I am always impressed with their fast and speedy service. Their software runs perfectly and smooth. I have not had any issues at all in the last four years.

Delivers what they promise.
We have been using lightspeed since March 2019 and have not been disappointed at all. From the initial demo to going live the Lightspeed team has been there to help us every step of the way. We have pet store with thousands of SKUs and this was our first POS. We chose Lightspeed because we wanted a POS system with a trusted and robust back office. A very happy user of Lightspeed …
We here at Douglas Ridge Rifle club have been using Lightspeed for about 4 years. We have been very happy with how Lightspeed works and what it has do for us. We now have everything that DRRC owns inventoryed on Lightspeed we have three disciplines using Lightspeed register to record sale and inventory of Ammuntion. Definitely worth your time to try it
We love how easy this was to set up. It does not require buying $20,000 worth of equipment like our first POS system did back in 2008. In fact it can easily be used with just an iPad! We are not computer savvy at all and this system has never confused us or new employees. We love everything about this system!
