Very Robust Tool

What do you like best? Super helpful support staff. The unlimited invited users allow my company to invite all of our 800+ partners to view/access our assets. Permissions are great, too. It helps that it's more of a visual platform than anything else to the user. Search is a great feature for our partners as well - and lightboxes seem to be getting used already with less than a week fully live! What do you dislike? It's a very manual process to set up. Some features are questionable ...

Photos Sharing Seamless

What do you like best? I enjoy the easy upload and sharing process. What do you dislike? Libris has been great. I do not have any dislikes. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Libris works well as an University Photographer. I can upload photos quickly, organize and label them and share with people among the university within minutes. It makes the back end of photography more seamless.

UC Davis Photoshelter

What do you like best? The easy and direct path to get images. The thumbnails are large and show quickly. The speed of downloads and uploads. Users like the keywords so they can click on it and go to other photos with the keywords. What do you dislike? Lightboxes are not as useful as they could be. Users complain that they cannot download an entire lightbox of images that they gathered or send the entire lightbox for download to another person. This has been a long time ...

Great way to organize and share images

What do you like best? I like the ability to create groupings of photos that I can easily share with colleagues and project collaborators. What do you dislike? There are some features that are not quite as intuitive as I'd like. I am still learning to use the platform. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Previously, if someone in another department or a collaborator outside our institution requested a specific kind of image, it could ...

Excellent resource for photo and video file sharing and database management

What do you like best? Frees up photographer time for photography versus file management and distribution. Makes it easy to search photos by date/subject/event or any and all of these fields. Ability to click and share large file sizes for vendors and third party printers. Ability to embed photo slideshows on our website. What do you dislike? We have had some issues with end user training. Libris provides some support but unfortunately it has not been enough for some of our less ...

Asset Management Made Simple

What do you like best? The ease of uploading content and then being able to share it amongst team members. Metadata is easy to put on the content and assets, which is one of the biggest benefits in allowing a variety of different clients and designers to search for content and assets. From a designer standpoint, Libris provides a great area to not only search and find assets, but to also store projects and assets for reference and backup. Being able to categorize all of our assets based ...

Many hats from Strategic Communications, Storyteller and for this survey Image Archivist

What do you like best? Being able to share your photos for your organization when people cannot come to your directly is necessary today. I put Libris to work for one of my biggest clients Chick-fil-A. Now all the photos that were on CDs/DVDs in someone's desk drawer are online and easy to access through keyword searches. We can also limit the access to who we want to see the images to the world if we choose. The best stewardship you can do for your images is to have them where they ...
